I've contended for years that honey bees are established as part of the pollinator community in our natural ecosystems. I've lost count of the numbers of times I've encountered Fish and Wildlife specialists, as well as conservationists, who consider honey bees to be pests: or as I've been told "they're only important to croplands" and they "keep a few weeds around".
I'm glad to see this new study - it fits a 'common sense' perspective.
