significantly increased the longevity of caged worker A pis
mellifera L., but higher concentrations reduced longevity.
Bees that were fed 10,000 ppm chlorine dioxide defecated
excessively and died within 1 week. Compared with untreated
bees there was no significant difference in consumption of
food (sucrose solution) or water.
Not useing that, sodium hypoclorite at 6%. So 1/ 275
.000218 concentration. Not sure how to relate that to ppm? Dont seem tonhave issues with bees been doing it for more than a decade. But no science to prove it.
