I am pretty old school here and I have not much need to move hives around in numbers. When I was doing a full fledged commercial gig a skid steer loader was certainly a nice tool. I am guessing here Joe than the plan is to add a mast to the front and if possible a boogie wheel to the back???

If I did decide to add a skid steer to my operation I would likely also consider soil type and potential of mud and weight out if I wanted a wheel or rubber track version of a skid steer loader.

Another consideration is fuel type and of course since all skid steers are mot made the same the question of long term maintenance becomes a serious consideration... most especially with a used model.

Gene in Central Texas....
