In view of Peter's post, what if you substitute any brood present
treatment, not just OAV. Would they also suffer from the same limitations?
Even MAQS, which do not kill all the mites when brood is present, could fit.

Interesting since it seems to say that all treatments must be when no brood
is present and by then it is too late.

I will stay with my method since it works here in Maine.
