I was watching a wildlife programme about Alaska.
They showed Cottonwood trees, something I have never seen before - did not realise that they were so huge.
Nice cavity in the tree about 15-20 feet from the ground. Bees? No! It was spring and a black bear came out with her two cubs - seems that she would have given birth about 12 weeks previously. Amazing to watch those little cubs climb down a tree from that height.
So - always check carefully what is in holes in trees before getting too close!
Best wishes
