> What exactly do bees in Manhattan produce honey from?

I am surprised at the response to this question, you guys never been to NYC? The main honey source is Tilia, but there are a lot of ornamentals planted along the streets, in the neighborhoods, community gardens, and of course Central Park. Also, wild flowers like sumac, knotweed, goldenrod &c. I walked around Brooklyn one summer afternoon and was delighted to see so many gardens in the small yards, and so many bumble bees.
