Wow, 4 inches of fresh snow here last night!
Swarm season already? Not here. I have 3 viable colonies based on yesterday’s survey, out of 5. Another nasty loss year on the Northern Tier. It’s a trial, indeed.
All usual, mite treatments and feeding last fall. Serious mite treatments. 6 weeks of Oxallic vaporization, every 4 days. Got all drops down, but highest count hive still thriving. .??
Getting slightly depressed, but never giving up.
Had +10C last week, snow covered with bee faeces,, and of course, my truck!
