Is this really true: "most beekeepers would begin treating for nosema"? I mean, did "most beekeepers" ever use fumagillin? I never have. Just wondering.
>I think this may only be true of folks that learned beekeeping from a book and buy every possible thing they may need for beekeeping before they start. This crowd must have no bottom in their bill fold.
>I do keep a bottle around that I use in a very limited experimental way. This is all pretty random stuff in that if I see something (I have no way to test in the field so I am guessing based upon past experience) I may add just a wee bit of this product just to see if it makes a difference. I concluded when nosema c. arrived that it's benefit was very short term in effect.
