Note that the above ratio is different than than used by Maggi their
original study--I don't know what ratio is used in Aluen Cap.
Maggi used 1 g OA to 2 mL glycerin.  At that ratio, I observe adverse
effects upon the adult bees and brood, although it results in good mite
control.

However, I obtain as good mite reduction with a 1:1 ratio, which does not
exhibit adverse affects.  Your ratio is closer to that.
I'm currently about to test an even lower ratio of glycerin starting this
week: 5:4 OA g: gly mL, which is a 1:1 ratio by weight.
