Or if you have a beard. When I was applying formic acid to hives at Cornell University I had to be fitted for a respirator by Health and Safety. They made me cut off my beard. Funny thing was I had been applying it without a respirator for years experimentally, but when it got registered the label said to wear a respirator. I also had to get a Pesticide Applicator's License. This was back when there was nothing approved for use during the honey flow. By the time the supers came off in late September it was usually too late
