With sting therapy, there would likely be a huge placebo effect, simply due
to the pain perception involved. Add to that the body's immune response,
and it would not be the least surprising that it would have a measurable
effect upon the patient. Upon what that effect would be, I'm not informed
enough to offer an opinion. However, I do know that after a few days
without a sting, that my mind/body craves a sting -- I doubt for the pain,
but more likely due to the venom.
