Hopefully, not the bear (which did not make a reappearance last night, probably due to the weather).  I did break down yesterday and add more sugar on top of the frames, given that we got more sleet/ice/snow last night (still coming down) and the weather is predicted to be cold and rainy through Friday.  I also ensured my electric fence is putting out a charge.  Based on his observations of the Arctic Oscillation and other indicators, Dr. Judah Cohen from Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER) is predicting this below-normal temp and stormy weather for the NE US will continue through May:
