Actually, I can't really figure out what you are trying to say in that post, despite repeated re-reading.
hmmm, let me try again then....... It seems as to many peoples point, that fungicide spraying of bees is still going on, mostly via plane(harder to avaoid hives) and that beekeepers being much more aware of it, are attemtpting to either stop it by charging more, or at least get compensated for it. Most commercial beeks feel they lose a round or two of brood when it happens and as a result are thinking 20.00 covers it.
To my thinking, they are way off. if you believe(and I do) that any sprays on hives are bad both short and long term, 20.00 is no where near close to a large enough premium to put a stop to it. I would and am pondering a doubling. But then again, all my growers are smaller operations, and I have good discussions with them about no spraying, so in theory not needed.
point being commercail beeks are getting more aware and more comfortable in confronting the issue of what we used to see as inerts to bees.
