AMM are much maligned! Once, with Sue Cobey and A.N.Other we opened a hive of Irish AMM at Gormanston so she could show us how she persuades drones to ejaculate. None of us had any protective clothing or a smoker and the bees just ignored us. What I found most interesting was that within 3 seconds of the drone ejaculating a worker was having a sniff at it.
