Glen, Surely some do, I for one and for the reasons we have discussed at great length. We have kicked this dead horse for some time and at this point I doubt many minds will change. For all the thoughtful replies from beekeepers with great experience at many levels, still some believe just what they want to believe and disregard the rest. (Apologies to Paul Simon)
Successful beekeeping in North America requires some effective varoa mite control. That is a simple fact. There are many proven regimens. Doing nothing is not one of them. All things pass and time will heal all wounds. Sooner or later those losing and replacing their bees annually will tire and move on. That will be a good day for the rest of us.
