Randy, et. al.
Thanks, especially for the Rittschoff paper on experimental disturbance and aggression.

It provides a suggestive answer to one of the most common questions I am asked by new beekeepers, "How frequently can I open the hive".

The paper corroborates a "habituation lapse" of 13-15 hours - indicating that bees begin "forgetting" a disturbance within a day.
