I am located in South Jersey. To date I have lost 7 out of 65. Three were Palmer nucs ( set up late , mid August) ALL colonies were very low on winter stores in August. I started bulk feeding on September 1st ( earlier than normal by two weeks)
All colonies built up winter populations and went into winter with 50-60 capped stores
We had a wet spring and a long hot dry fall.
