You didn't even read what I posted. The NY bees were a 50/50 mix of ital and carni. The commercial queens, from California, were Golden Italians, and were 90% carni.
I have been to Slovenia and seen Carniolans in their native habitat. I also worked with the breeder in California who sold the Golden Italians.
If your point is So What, why bother saying so? Some people find this stuff interesting, even if you don't.
