I know it varies throughout the year, but say after obtaining a standard measure for phoretic mites, I am curious about estimating the remaining population of varroa that is present in reproductive stages.

1. Does any sort of linear relationship (or any relationship at all) exist for a general phoretic/reproductive ratio? (drone comb and worker comb additive dependent variables for simplicity...?)
