It typically takes 11-12 days 'til emergence, and then 12-14 days until eggs.  Very dependent upon genetics and temperature.  The earliest emergence to eggs that we ever see is 8 days, but if poor flight weather for mating, 14-20 days not uncommon.

Interesting note  from east coast commercial breeders,  they run between 14 and 21 days in a queen yard (that’s with  a cell)  depending on season and weather.  And its not where you would think.  Bottom line large scale guys see quite a spread also for queens to be back mated and laying good enough to say shes okay.
