The queen breeder in a Midwestern agricultural setting that I hoped might
provide me ground truthing as to whether their queens reared with neonic
exposure suffered from infertility was unable to say yes or no.
Are there any on the List, with bees in neonic-treated areas, who produce
their own queens? I'd like to hear whether you have seen evidence that
your queens tend to fail prematurely. Of course, that would not be a good
sales pitch if you are selling queens, so feel free to reply off list with
full confidentiality.
