Peter,
We just concluded a study on Hopguard for 4 years. As you may know we changed the delivery method by using corrugated cardboard -Mylar strips to increase the dose and distribution of material inside bee hives. This material is not easy for bees to chew as occurred in previous strips. Previous strips were chewed with 5 days of application. The dose also adjusted to 1 strip for every 5 frames covered with bees. Based on our data to achieve 75% or more you need to apply 2 consecutive applications for full treatment, 10-15 days apart. No more than 4 applications per year. As many of the product the presence of brood impacts efficacy. You can get over 95% if there is no brood!
