What was the method of the shook swarm? At last week's Missouri conference, it was taught in two steps by Gregg Hitchings:
1) Shake them onto frames with starter strips of foundation.
2) Wait several days, shake them into another hive with fresh foundation, and destroy the comb they'd created (holding the disease they'd carried with them).
