Hi All-- a question for those of you who have been feeding UltraBee patties.
We've been using Mann Lake Bulk patty with very good results, but due to lack of availability, also fed Ultra patties to a number of yards early this month. We noticed a big difference in how they dealt with the Ultra patties as compared to the Bulk patty formulation.
A bit different but an observation prompted by this post. I stared dry feeding in the yards this week, I have a 1 ton tote of Mann lake and had a couple of 50lb Dadant bags. I put them in feeders together, but "separate" (same location different piles) they hit both, but prefer the Dadant quite obviously.
The Dadant is a off beige color, and Mann lake is pretty bright yellow. Just an observation triggered by this question. Had it not been for this post, I would have just blended them and never given it a thought.
Charles
