Some of the information that I presented at the MT and CA Beekeepers meetings has appeared in the January issue of Bee Culture.
The first article is intended to introduce the technology. Article 2 goes into more detail about entry level cameras with comparison pictures from wrapped, outdoor hives in Missoula, and hives in Bill Flukes new Wintering Shed in Arlee. I submitted article two last week. I expect to write three more, the next one will cover the pros and cons of spending more for entry and mid-level professional IR cameras.
Article 1 can be found in the current issue and online at: http://www.beeculture.com/infrared-the-next-generation-in-colony-management/
