Up here in northeast Alabama, and after a few years of bringing supers inside for 48 hours for drying, I have yet to have any issues with SHB.

I run the disposable Beetle Blasters in all my hives, one trap per hive body.

I also remove any loose beetles that I may find in the supers when I bring them in.
