Super hydrophilic coatings and surfaces have been around a while. The applications are more than just honey or ketchup in the bottle.
If you have followed the SHB issue much at all, you know that a 45 Degree flange and a product called never wet can be helpful with these little buggers.
I have been digging into cost effective super hydrophilic coatings a bit lately and there are actually 2 or 3 on the market. And as well as they prevent liquids, some insects have the same issue.
