This week's Economist has a fascinating article on super slippery surface
research  being carried out by Kripa Varanasi at MIT.  Think Flow hive, but
more importantly, think about that last spoonful of honey clinging to the
inside of the honey jar that does not want to come out.  The application on
a large scale is for industrial equipment like steam turbines but at a more
pedestrian level "they have recently found ways to apply their ideas to
create internal coatings for containers so their contents will flow out
easily and completely."

Think of the applications for the honey business.....
