Does anyone know if when wax moths "digest" dark brood wax on either plastic foundation frames or frames of wax foundation, if they kill AFB spores, EFB, Viri, etc.? While I still believe in AFB cases, the equipment should be burned, I am curious what wax moth digestion of dark wax comb does? Also, I still believe frames should be rotated out every four to five years. However, a lot of beekeepers reuse the plastic foundation frames and I am interested in disease control.
Thanks,
Dave M.
