Perhaps you should read more carefully what I have written, especially the long piece on Bee Breeding which was published in the ABJ four years ago. I have never claimed that "genetics is going to overcome a predator." Evolution has winners and losers. 

It is you who is misunderstanding me; I am not making any claims and have gone to great pains to explain that this is intended to be a discussion, not a lecture. A statement like "rattle off some research paper" is a good way to bring it to a halt.
