Interesting but confirms the obvious- it is Varroa. One thing they found is
Varroa is lower with migratory beekeepers, but my guess is only because
they know to treat and do so, while too many "stationary" (read hobby)
beekeepers do not.
Another is the increase in Bee Paralysis virus. I have seen that and glad
for the confirmation. It actually is a good study because it helps educate.
Of major interest is that they intend to follow up with the same look at
pesticides. That one should be interesting.
