I once watched a bee save its sister from a spider web. The bee was caught
in a web on the side of the hive buzzing desperately trying to brake free.
Her sister rammed into her maybe 10, 15 times until she broke free. Could
this act of apparently saving the life of its hive mate be considered a
conscious act, or merely reacting to stimuli ?
