Bad idea to bring in domestication. The"adapted" are not adapting to us, we
are adapting them to us. There is a difference. They get selected by us. If
left to themselves we would have some vicious creatures in our homes.
No different than what we do with our bees. We select for the traits we
want, not what they may desire. Just think nasty bees and how they seem to
do better all around.
Granted, this is a fuzzy area as there is a transition zone where both are
in effect. Does make for nice arguments as we currently are witnessing.
Sort of like the nurture or nature arguments among behavioral scientists.
