The weight decline part of the graph I had attributed to nectar evaporation
over-night, not bees leaving the hive.
In general, I'd predict that wt. changes due to bees leaving the hive would
be off-set by nectar entering?
But the puzzle in that interpretation is shown between 8/17 - 18 where there
is a significant step up in wt. midway during the decline (at night)?.
I also assumed that the increase in wt. would follow a few hours behind the
diurnal temperature ambient temperature elevation.
I plan to test the time and weight accuracy of the scales by placing bricks
of known value on the hive and take temperature readings thought the day
from independent devices. I want to confirm the time measurements of the
two graphs companion each other accurately.
