As usual, it all depends on what else you see and hear, but if the bees do
not show Varroa issues, it could be dysentery or nosema. Here in Maine I
normally lean toward dysentery based on the typical beekeepers food
management, but others lean to Nosema, often exclusively. Fall honey, here
in Maine, often leads to dysentery..But Nosema has the headlines.
