Thanks for this Randy! We can't get local mated queens until early to
mid June so some Q producers may rush the season as you say. I buy
cells from a local Q producer to install in my nucs in late May early
June then leave them alone for 25 days, so that I have super strong
nucs, packed with capped brood & needing more room, just before our
main nectar flow in early to mid July.
