Just did a walk-away split.I let them grow their own and all is well with
several emergency queen cells.
I am thinking of treating with OA vapor after the queen emerges and about
the time she goes on her mating flight.
My logic is that will be about as brood free a point that I would get, so
would be fairly effective on Varroa.
Any down side to this approach? (Everything I have read indicates no,
but...)
