Two deeps are just too difficult to manage and it is a shame that new beekeepers are taught that two deeps are the way to go. *
I was pondering this coupled with the assertion that bees don't make honey like they used to. Curious (maybe Pete has some info)as to how much of that theory has to do with the switch to double deeps.
Most good singles here will make 100 lbs every year.
