I am trying to say that non-farmers need to see from the farmer's viewpoint and you respond with this? We should just give up trying to communicate altogether? Consumers should have nothing to say about how food is produced? I don't think that's how free markets work. I have been trying to promote mutual understanding and respect, and you say: no point, farmers think consumers are idiots.
Not at all Pete, trying to say evaluate your viewpoint! Something we should all do from time to time.
If you ever get a chance to take a real good team building program, jump on it.
A key to good communication is understanding your perspective (not message but perspective, and the other persons also.
The other major factor in team building is having faith in the other team members ability. There is the completely missing part. One side is doing nothing but armchair quarterbacking.
In all this back and forth, I have seen dozens of statements and proclamations, don't recall any questions.
Communication seems to be one sided in that aspect.
Charles
