A totally different application to what was asked as a treatment for Varroa. I would assume that for a Varroa treatment there is exposure of the bees to the treatment as per current chemicals that are used. The harbourage that is used for SHB is totally enclosed with no access of the bees to the chemical. No doubt eventually there will be a resistance problem but in the meantime it is an effective, safe method of controlling SHB if used as per directions.
