I have wondered, as it seems some of my fellow Ontario beekeepers have also, about neonics (sorry Charles). Seems to me the question needs to be asked.
Absoulutly no problem keeping an eye open and watching. The problem lies in people making things up and twisting the story around. I am curioius myself, we have Corn and beans here, bees use very little of that. I have wondered a lot about the actuall exposure in Canola. This year will be the first season to find out myself. And I am sure its possible it can effect queens so lets keep looking. But make sure we have facts.
