A major invasive in our area is Japanese Knotweed, which is very attractive to pollinators, and is now my most reliable honey crop. But -- in this area, I have never seen it set seed.
Fallopia japonica (Japanese Knotweed) is dioecious, Pete.
Here, in Western Europe, it is known that there are very few - to no - male plants in nature.
