Good question Kevin. Oddly, the mid-late winter increase in N ceranae
occurs in areas in which weather is conducive for mid-winter cleansing
flights (Spain, Taiwan, Northern Calif). N apis is more prevalent in areas
in which weather prevents midwinter cleansing flights.
