Hi Wayne and All
A month or so ago I asked this list if they were seeing low levels of
varroa as I was. No one replied! I asked at the 2 local Beek clubs
of which I am a member; "Who has checked their varroa levels?" Almost
no one had checked! The Apiarist at U of Guelph was the only other
person I know who did not treat, for varroa, all hives this autumn
based on his varroa monitoring(treated 20 hives out of several hundred).
I do not believe that Marla means, in the quote above, "treat all
hives in spite of your monitoring results"
