Sorry,  I didn't type well .. the first was his statement.   The second
mine.  
I have not observed bees trying to recover dropped pollen.

Your statements contradict each other, I must be misunderstanding what you
are  saying.  I said, if they drop it on the porch, they'll come back to try
to get it through the screen.
