I must assume that you did not attend the research lunch at CSBA where a major honey packer showed the residues of miticides and antibiotics in U.S.
honey, compared to those of other countries. U.S. beekeepers have no reason to claim that their honey is the most pure.
We should also probably note for those who were not in attendance there were 4 major groups of contaminants that are being found in US honey. I believe the antibiotic issue was only one of those, suspecting the other 3 were mite treatments? You may have more info on that?
