Interesting observation this spring, Had to wait until I was 100% Positive.
I noticed this year we got some packages out of central FL, and they were loaded with SHB. Not completely unusual, but more than I had every noticed before, which made me suspect they were actually attracted to the swarms.
2 times this year besides that now, I have captured swarms that have SHB in the swarm cluster. Yesterday there were actually 3 beetles hanging in the cluster on the side of a box. I have no idea if they travel with the cluster to the new location, but I am 100% positive they are attracted to and leaving with swarms in the daytime.
