I would just like to point out that people like these thrive on beesource, which is not a moderated forum, but a free for all anything goes collective where nonsense stands side by side with the truth and no one notices the difference. 

This forum tries to expose errors, fallacies, charlatans, and snake oil peddlers. But there is that old saying, attributed to Mark Twain: A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes. 

Here's another pithy quote from 1913: "Swatting is a useless and more or less thankless task; a waste of energy, no matter how well directed. Don't swat the fly!"

I'll try to remember that one.
