Not completely mistaken. My original point was the adult SHB do not scurry into a cell just before it is capped to lay their eggs in a cell.... in looking at my previous reply to the original post on this subject, I did not make it clear that is what caught my eye on the original post which prompted me to reply.
You are correct, the SHB do ovideposit through a cell wall. However I do not believe they lurk and wait just before the cell is capped and scurry into it to lay their eggs. So I regret not being clear and concise enough. However, I am not the first on this forum to commit that particular error and probably will not be the last.
