"The longer one successfully keeps bees in a area the more prolific the
area becomes."
I first had bees in 1978 on my allotment, which is next to a pony
paddock. In the next few years I noticed a very great increase in the
wild white clover growing there: the bees, through enhanced
pollination, were creating their own forage!
With regard to cropping, my average over many years was just under half
a cwt, but one hive, taller than me, might have a cwt while another not
far away would have very little.
